Our last day in Kauai consisted of breakfast at Gaylord's, at the old Kilohana Plantation, where we were serenaded by the guitarist in the picture above.
We then did a little bit more shopping at Hilo Hattie's, before returning to our condo to finish packing.
Once done with the packing, we took one last stroll along the beach at the Coconut Coast.

View back towards the mouth of the Wailua River

Andy and Henry walking along the beach.

Henry playing in the sand one last time.
And then, it was time to return to 50 degree weather in the San Francisco area.
Mahalo to the kind citizens of Kauai! We'll be back again!

Looks like a great vacation! Will this blog become the family vacation blog? Possibly post future family activities here? Could be cool.
I think this is going to be the vacation blog for sure. Might have to dive into the past for our Alaska cruise pictures next (that was only 6 months ago).
What? No Dinosaurs?! I'm disappointed! Though the Indy field was rather cool... ;)
very nice pictures. so calm and serene. I'd love to go there sometime. Thanks for sharing them!
Hi Andy & Page,
I just found this site. Wow, I remember some of those places you visited. Paul and I were out there before I became pregnant with Laura. I would love to make it a family vacation for us. I had forgotten how beautiful it was out there. Thanks for sharing.
Christine
